 the new year with a stunning circular walk around Richmond Park\, one of L
 ondon’s eight royal parks. This trail perfectly combines history\, wildl
 ife\, and tranquil natural beauty. Start at Isabella Plantation\, a charmi
 ng Victorian garden first planted in the 1830s. Wander past ponds\, water 
 features\, and unique plants set in a peaceful\, natural landscape - and e
 njoy the convenience of free toilets on site. Continue through Richmond Pa
 rk\, a wild and expansive landscape established by Charles I in the 17th c
 entury as a deer park. Keep your eyes open for herds of deer\, ancient tre
 es\, and a wealth of wildlife\, from birds and bats to wildflowers and fun
 gi. Along the way\, admire White Lodge\, a Grade I-listed historic buildin
 g and home to the Royal Ballet School. Built in 1730 as a hunting lodge\, 
 it has hosted royalty\, Prime Ministers\, and even Queen Victoria in 1861.
  The trail also leads to the Pen Ponds\, two serene lakes separated by a f
 ootpath and home to nesting birds on three islands. If you’re lucky\, yo
 u might spot a heron silently watching over the water. A nearby coffee van
  provides the perfect opportunity to pause\, relax\, and soak in the peace
 ful surroundings. This walk is an accessible escape into nature\, offering
  a perfect blend of history\, wildlife\, and scenic views - all just a sto
