About the trip

This spring Join us virtually or in person as we tackle over 130 miles of one of Britains most famous and beautiful trails, the South West coast path.

WHY WE'RE DOING IT:

Following the success of last years 'Walk The Spine' Ed and Lois haven't learnt any lessons and are heading back out for another monumental walk. With over 20k raised from the Pennine Way trek and lots of people joining in virtually with their own challenges we hope that we can encourage even more people to venture outside for all the physical and psychological benefits it presents. The pandemic has shone a bright light on the importance of looking after ones mental and physical health and 'Walk The Coast' offers up a prime opportunity to get outdoors as a community in the name of charity and wellbeing.

WHO WE'RE DOING IT FOR:

We will be raising money for the M2M Foundation. You can find out more about the M2M Foundation HERE.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED:

We're encouraging you to join in remotely or in person.

In person - we will be putting our route and accommodation on our website so please bring your families and friends to join in on this epic trail. We will be encouraging you to set up your own Just Giving pages to fundraise for your efforts.

Remotely - Join our team on JustGiving and let us know your challenges then record your route and share your progress with us via social media using #walkthecoast for a chance to win some Berghaus goodies. Ed's progress will also be tracked in real time via GPS so you can keep tabs on how he's getting on.

I laughed, talked, cried, hugged and walked my way into a better mental space with an amazing group of people. Thank you.

Johnathan Dobson

I love the outdoors and walk a lot but to do it with such a lovely group and for such a great cause made the experience unforgettable. I'll be back.

Anna Carrington

We've hiked over 40 miles, assented 6000m in height, burnt up to 5000 calories a day, walked over 25 hours in total and collectively raised over 35k for charity. It's been absolutely unforgettable but a really tough week and I've pushed myself mentally and physically out of my comfort zone, I've met so many amazing and interesting people who are now close friends and had a chance to really reflect on life, appreciate what I have and what's important and put everything into perspective.
